Local merchants stay open later, galleries are open, see dancers and musicians, and check out some dining in this cool small town.īring the kiddos with you downtown and head to the Lancaster Science Factory as part of your First Friday and enjoy over 70 interactive exhibits from 5-7pm for free! You can turn First Friday into date night by exploring some nearby dining. Similarly, head to downtown Lititz on Second Fridays. First Friday happens on the first of every month and allows you to explore art galleries, see street performances and more. Head into downtown Lancaster to check out First Friday. Wonder In The Woods, happening 11th & 12th will have a record of 60+ different exhibitors and three or more vendors attending and will be featuring carver Kevin Applegate. Free admission and free parking, there will be 40 + Vendors, Quilt Exhibits, Free Gift Basket Raffle and so much more! The Lancaster Quilt Show will be happing March 29th through April 1st. Since you're in the PA Dutch Countryside, scoot your way over to Strasburg Scooters for their returning Covered Bridge Tour. While the adults get to have with wine and cheese, the kids get to experience Reading On The Rails on the 11th at Railroad Museum. Join them on Fridays or Saturdays and take their Wine & Cheese Train! The Strasburg Rail Road has a variety of events happening this March. Their arrival is unpredictable, but you can generally see them from the beginning to the middle of March.
